Play a Game

When I say a game, I mean an old school board game.  Don’t get on the computer, your phones, or a video game console.  Break out one of those board games that are sitting in your closet.  My husband and I love to play board games.  We like to play Ticket to Ride every Sunday.  We also enjoy a competitive game of Yahtzee or Backgammon.

There’s nothing wrong with a little healthy competition.

Relationship reconnection – I think playing a game really allows you to take a time-out from a hectic life and focus on something important, like your spouse.  This is the perfect opportunity to just talk with your spouse.  Play a competitive game and do a little smack talking.  After, play a game for fun and enjoy the conversation.

Happy dating!
