Go to a Concert

When my husband and I were living in Utah when we first got married, the Beach Boys were singing at the Stadium of Fire.  (That’s their annual 4th of July celebration if you aren’t familiar.)  Anyways, we were pretty poor, but we could get some nosebleed seats for pretty cheap.  I hemmed and hawed for a while and finally decided against it.  I kicked myself so many times for not getting tickets.  It’s the Beach Boys!  When would I have ever gotten another chance to see them in concert?  Nevertheless, I was sad.

However, when we moved to Iowa, my husband heard on the radio that the Beach Boys were touring a few cities away from where we were living.  He came home and told me and I was more than ecstatic!  Since it was around the time of our anniversary, that’s what we did.  And it was amazing!  I’m so glad that I finally got a chance to see the legendary Beach Boys!

Go to a concert for your date.  It doesn’t have to be extravagant like the one my husband and I went to.  My husband and I have been to cheap orchestra concerts, as well.  Pick what kind you want to see.  There are always fun concerts during the summer.

Relationship reconnection – Fondness and admiration are some of the most critical elements in a rewarding and long-lasting relationship.  After the concert, tell your spouse what you find endearing about them and also those things that you admire.  This will be the cherry on top of an already great evening.

Happy dating!
